The Social Media Manager is responsible for ideating, developing and executing intuitive paid and organic social media plans and content strategies for agency and client social media marketing channels.

Who you are:

  • Have experience growing followers and engagement on branded social channels
  • Have an eye for creating content that engages.
  • Understand the right levers to pull to reach the right audiences on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms
  • Understand the unique role social marketing plays within the broad picture of marketing strategy 
  • Can multi-task like a pro. You thrive in a high-performance and fast-paced environment
  • Have solid experience in creating content strategies and content planning across multiple platforms for a variety of brands 
  • Understand the interconnected environment between social platforms, as well as how that impact is extended through the integrated marketing campaign
  • Are gritty. You roll up your sleeves, figure it out, and have a ‘make it happen’ mentality
  • Learn fast and think on your feet. 

What you'll do:

  • Create engaging content.
  • Build, drive, and execute social media strategies across various accounts and industries
  • Develop and defend content calendars for client and agency social media
  • Review analytics and create monthly reports on key metrics
  • Adjust organic and paid strategies based on key metrics to improve account performance
  • Work alongside agency and client teams to ensure a well-rounded content approach for all channels 
  • Actively engage with social media outlets related to our brands
  • Ideate and brief leadership on annual, quarterly, and monthly paid and organic social content strategies
  • Ideate, plan, execute creative organic and paid content strategies
  • Work alongside Creative Lead and account management to coordinate content generation and hit deadlines
  • Create dynamic beyond the feed content to support all key content categories
  • Write social media specific copy for all content categories and campaign launches across a variety of clientele
  • Partner with Creative Lead to ensure social content is consistent with the big picture of brand integration
  • Pull, analyze, present social media analytics in order to inform and adjust strategic direction and content creation
  • Engage with social audiences and interact with comments, tags, shares, etc. Monitor social media channels for comments and requests and respond within a 24-hour time period
  • Present to Beyond Theory and client teams

What you have:

  • 2-3 years advertising agency experience or related in-house marketing experience
  • Provide examples of successful social media conversion campaigns
  • Excellent writing skills - extremely strong attention to detail, grammar, and spelling
  • Strong analysis and presentation skills 
  • Evidence of growth in followers and engagement in social media channels you’ve personally directed
